Does anyone use azureus on vista??

i've tried.. it does "work" but not all that well.. crashed the sys a couple of times too (i suppose, cuz until i've installed and used it- no crashes occurred even when they kind of "should have")..
dead slow too.. i don't really get the firewalls in vista aether (my guess for snail like performance)..
right.. thank you in advance..

oldsnake try using uTorrent instead, it works extremely well in vista and doesn't hog up as much resources as Azureus does. I have been using it for a year or so and it has only crashed once for me :) Also they layout is kept simple while maintaing advance features for users as well.

Azures /Vuze is safer with safepeer:

Last Safe version of utorrent is ver Download uTorrent 1.6.1
since they weren bought out..

I do use Azureus on Vista but only when im not doing anything as it does slow my PC right down to a snails pace. I only really use Torrents now to download TV shows, and as I use TED that grabs them for me automatically when they are realised to the net (that is usually late at night for me as I live in the UK) I am not using my PC so its not a big problem.

The fastest torrent client I have tried on Vista (and I have tried many) was Flashget
